Why I Become a Mentor Coach
I chose to become a Mentor Coach because I am passionate about supporting the coaching community and helping coaches achieve their full potential. I believe in the ICF competency framework as a valuable guide for coaching excellence, and I want to help coaches develop and grow within that framework. By providing guidance, feedback, and support, I hope to help coaches increase their overall satisfaction with their work and make a positive impact on the clients they serve. Ultimately, I see mentoring as a way to give back to the coaching profession and contribute to its ongoing development and success.
About Me as a Mentor Coach
As a Mentor Coach I use a strength-based approach to mentoring. I focus on identifying and building on a coach's existing assets while also helping them develop in areas where they want to expand. Before mentoring sessions, I look for evidence in a coach's recording to help them understand their strengths and stretch areas. To get the most out of our sessions, I encourage coaches to evaluate their work before our conversation so that we can have an informative and focused discussion. My goal is to support coaches in their development and help them reach their full potential as effective and impactful coaches.
