Work with Our Certified
Positive Peer Coaches

Get Professional Coaching Support from People Who Understand Your Life and Work

One major benefit of membership in the Positivity Playground Network is having access to our Certified Positive Peer Coaches.*

Our coaches are international school teachers, leaders, and staff members who are passionate about building adult wellbeing in schools. They have completed ICF-accredited training and mentoring in positive psychology coaching practices which have been shown to improve wellbeing, performance, and collaboration.

Our Certified Positive Peer Coaches are ready, willing, and able to support you with coaching conversations that will help you...

  • Use your unique strengths to achieve what matters most to you

  • Build your positive psychological capital: hope, efficacy, resilience, and optimism

  • Approach your life and work with a solutions-focused mindset

*Not yet a Playground member? You are welcome to book a Discovery Call with one of our coaches to see if our coaching approach would be a good fit for you. If so, we'll help you join our community and get you started with coaching (plus all the other benefits of your Playground membership!).

How to Work with a Certified Positive Peer Coach

Step 1: Arrange a Discovery Call

Once you've selected a coach you'd like to work with from our Directory below, please request a 30-minute no-obligation Discovery Call.

On the Discovery Call, you and your coach will have a chance to...

  • Get to know each other a bit

  • Talk about your situation and objectives

  • Discuss our coaching approach

  • Address any questions you may have

  • Decide on next steps

Step 2: Have a Vision Session

If you decide to move ahead with coaching, you'll start with a 1-hour Vision Session, where you and your coach will work together to clarify your overall coaching goal and make a plan for your coaching sessions.

This will be an opportunity to talk through your future vision in rich detail, explore how your strengths can help you, look at the progress you've already made, and identify focus areas for subsequent sessions.

At this point, you and your coach will decide how many sessions you'd like to commit to together. Sessions can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes in duration. We recommend scheduling 1-3 sessions at a time, so that you and your coach will have a clear timeframe for the coaching work together. You can always add more sessions as needed.

Step 3: Enjoy Your Coaching Sessions!

At the start of each session, your coach will ask what you'd like to focus on in your time together. Here are some ways our coaches can support you in a session...

  • Strategizing: Exploring pathways and techniques that will help you achieve a goal

  • Solutioning: Creating ways to overcome barriers and obstacles in your path

  • Sounding Board: Helping you clarify priorities, plans, or ideas that you’re working on

  • Self-Discovery: Exploring patterns in your thinking and behavior to help you shift outcomes

  • Support: Encouragement through exploring evidence of how your strengths and positive actions are serving you well
